The bottom line should be, how much can I save and still get good value for my money. There are weekly, monthly and even yearly plans. Some plans look and sound attractive but they can land you in touble financially. Be careful on committing to phone plans before you check out all the fine prints of what you are signing to.

There are so many phone companies, all are competing for the mighty dollar of the consuming telephone public. Billions of dollars are spent yearly to promote phone products. Each company laying the claim that his product is the best on the market. This leaves many consumers confused as to who to choose as their phone carrier of choice. Companies have special promotions, cut down prices, offer new phones to lure new clients. Each offering a different phone plan. How can the uninformed consumer knows what he is getting is good? The only way is to spend some time to visit the different companies and compare products and plans, then you might be able to make a bettter decision base on knowledge and information.

New phone brands are poping up almost every month. It is so hard to keep up with the latest market trend of brand name phones. Gone are the days when we had land (home) base phones and no one spoke of the brand name. People just knew that they had a phone in the house. Today, people talk about their phones by brand name. Some take great pride in their brand name. Some companies compete along brand names. Our younger generation of phone users, most of them will buy their phone base on brand name. Not all brands are made equal, some are better in quality and appearance.

Many enter into phone plan contracts without much thought. They do not read the fine print to know what they are committing themselves to. Can you afford it on a long term, the wekly, monthly or yearly payment? Some take out plans they cannot pay for to please friends, co-workers, family etc.. There are people who put themselves in debt just to have and expensive phone and huge monthly payments, justto be in things and be counted. Think of your phone plans. Can you afford it?
